Winning third place at the 2023 National Youth Football Tournament, Binh Duong U13 has partly shown the quality of training young players of Binh Duong gifted classes where the stage of selection and training from the grassroots level plays an important role.

At the end of the 2023 tournament, Binh Duong U13 won third place overall after losing 4-0 to SLNA U13 in the semi-finals of the tournament in a result that is considered an unexpected success of the young football team. Compared to the 2022 tournament, the performance of Binh Duong U13 has improved quite a bit.

Losing to SLNA U13 in the semi-finals with a score of 4-0 is the expected result for coach Bui Khuong Trung's squad because in this playground, young team of SLNA are highly appreciated for their quality and achievements. Therefore, it can be said that, compared to 2022 when only stopping in the group stage, the achievement of winning third place with HAGL U13 is a long step forward for the young football team in the land.

The pride is that because of the influence of the COVID-19 epidemic, the Binh Duong U13 players have only been focusing and practicing together for nearly a year. With such time fund, each member has worked together to strive to improve day by day. Before participating in the final round of the 2023 tournament, the goal of the whole team is to try to play well every game. But then with constant efforts, step by step through the group stage, quarter-finals and semi-finals, U13 Binh Duong has affirmed its name where the pool of players that are searched and developed from the basic aptitude points is a decisive factor to help the team get the initial success.

Currently, satellite locations are often called junior talent such as An Phu of Thuan An city, Tay Nam of Ben Cat town, Phu My of Thu Dau Mot city and Di An are the main source of players for football teams U11 and U13 belong to Binh Duong Sports Competition and Training Center.

According to coach Bui Khuong Trung, the current generation of Binh Duong U13 players has about 10 players who are considered potential and capable of developing into professional players. However, all of this is just in the early stages of development, to go further, we need to make more efforts. Hopefully, with this new generation of young players, in the not too distant future, Binh Duong football will have copies of Tien Linh or Tong Anh Ty.
