Binh Duong Daily had an interview with PhD Cao Viet Hieu, vice-principal of BDU cum head of BDU’s Training Department about the school’s basic training information for the 2012 student enrollment.

How has the province’s demand for human resources impacted on BDU’s training task?

Currently, BDU provides many fields of training, ranging from economics, banking-finance, technology, construction, biology…to social sciences. The school’s training level is also very diversified, from junior college, college, university, doctor to PhD. We have built a training program with fields to meet the province’s development demand.

BDU’s former students have so far worked in almost State agencies, sectors and firms in the province and many other localities nationwide. We now promote coherence with enterprises in training.

How has BDU’s training for high qualification human resources been implemented?

BDU has prepared to launch its training programs with international cooperation. Accordingly, students are able to take training courses in some different countries to get integration with the global working environment.  We will also receive foreign students for training.

What are BDU’s “hottest” fields?

Auditing, finance-banking, architecture and tourism are now BDU’s key fields of training. BDU has been very successful in cooperating with enterprises to build the practical model for the above fields…

BDU’s fields of training are designed with broad knowledge to help students meet job’ requirements after graduation. We have also encouraged students to learn other subjects to widen their knowledge. Currently, there are 98% of BDU’s students seeking jobs after graduation.

Which fields students should select not to give up their learning?

Students’ learning is now very favorable. They can study many fields and select training forms suitable to their own conditions.

For me, students need to know more fields to get success, but they should only focus on one field for the best development…
