Binh Duong urbanization rate reaches 82%

To continue motivate the implementation of urban development in the province, provincial Department of Construction has advised Provincial People's Committee to issue Document No. 2328/ People's Committee-KT dated May 19, 2022, on the implementation of Binh Duong Urban Development Program in the 2016-2020 period and urban development programs in the province; at the same time, to deploy Document No. 2328/UBND-KT dated May 19, 2022, in localities.

In addition, the Department of Construction is offering advice to the Standing Committee of Provincial Party Committee on the action plan to implement Resolution No. 06-NQ/TW dated January 24, 2022, of the Politburo on planning, construction, management, and development of sustainable urban in Vietnam until 2030 with a vision for 2045. Binh Duong has achieved an urbanization rate of 82%, the percentage of households gaining clean and hygienic water supply is 99.62% (the target for the whole year 2022 is 83% and 99.63%).
