Binh Duong voters eagerly go to the polls

Today of May 22, more than one million voters in Binh Duong province eagerly go to the polls to elect moral, talented and deserving deputies to represent the will and aspirations of the people and their right to mastery in the legislative body and People’s Councils.

According to Binh Duong Online, all local voting precincts started opening on 7 a.m. Right after the opening ceremony, numerous local voters started selecting the most excellent deputies for the 13th NA and People’s Council at all levels (2011-2016 term). 

At the electoral team No.7 in Thu Dau Mot town’s Phu Cuong ward, the provincial leaders including Mai The Trung, member of Central Party Committee and secretary of the provincial party committee; Vu Minh Sang, vice secretary of the provincial party committee and chairman of the provincial People’s Council; Le Thanh Cung, chairman of the provincial People’s Committee and countless voters joined in voting. Together with the provincial voters, more than 18,700 voters in Phu Cuong ward elected and selected three out of five most excellent deputies for the 13th NA and five out of seven deputies for the provincial People’s Council, four out of six deputies for the town People’s Council and four out of six deputies for the ward People’s Council in the 2011-2016 term.

Many voters expressed their joy of being implemented their rights and obligations. Voter Nguyen Hau Tai in Phu Cuong ward said that although he joined in many previous elections at all levels, this year’s elections showed many talented, moral and deserving candidates. Besides, candidates’ action plans showed concrete, significant and proper features.  

Voter Le Thi Ngoc Sang in Thu Dau Mot town, said this year’s elections, the provincial Election Committee at all levels excelled electoral promulgation, order and security whilst voter Nguyen Thai Ky Minh at the same locality, said this is the first time she joins in voting. 

*According to the provincial Election Committee, until 8.am of May 22, there were 208,329 voters across province going to the polls, winning 19.29%. Of this, Dau Tieng district won the highest rate of 35.32%, followed by Phu Giao district 34%.

*Till 10 a.m, the entire province had 587,125 voters going to the polls, reaching 54.22%. Of this, Thu Dau Mot town reached 56.47%, Ben Cat 46.11%, Dau Tieng 72.02%, Di An 52.57%, Tan Uyen 42.37%, Phu Giao 72.92% and Thuan An 56.73%.
