Binh Duong wants to cooperate with Indian partners

As part of the Horasis India Meeting 2022, delegates attended a party in celebration of the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and India on the evening of September 25.

The party was attended by Nguyen Van Loi, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Head of provincial National Assembly Deputy Delegation; Vo Van Minh, Vice-Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Chairman of provincial People's Committee; Rajkumar Ranjan Singh, Secretary of State for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of India; Madan Mohan Sethi, Consul General of India in Ho Chi Minh city; Frank-Jürgen Richter, Chairman - Founder of Horasis.

Speaking at the party, Mr. Minh affirmed that during the 50-year journey of establishing diplomatic relations, Vietnam and India have achieved many important achievements in the fields of politics, national defence- security, economy - commerce and people-to-people exchanges. Last August, Binh Duong province coordinated with the Consulate General of India to organize a Bolywood dance performance - a program in the series of events of the "Vietnam Namaste Festival 2022". The Horasis India Meeting 2022 is a particularly important external event of Binh Duong province. This is also one of the practical activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and India (1972-2022), contributing to strengthening the comprehensive strategic partnership cooperation relationship between Vietnam and India.

He emphasized that Binh Duong province has made efforts to promote bilateral and multilateral cooperation in order to get stronger socio-economic development, improve integration capacity and compete in the international arena. The province has implemented the Binh Duong Smart City project 2021, with a vision to 2030", a breakthrough program for the local socio-economic development, aiming to raise the level of Binh Duong Smart Zone development with the region and the world. With the role of co-chairing the Horasis India Meeting 2022, Binh Duong wanted to have opportunities to cooperate with partners in the region and the world, including Indian ones, in order to promote socio-economic development, implement the Smart City Project and builde up a Binh Duong urban area with quick and sustainable development in the future.
