Binh Duong wants to develop trade and education with Nebraska
On the afternoon of January 11, Mai Hung Dung, member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice- Chairman of provincial People's Committee, together with leaders of departments and sectors, Becamex IDC received a delegation from Nebraska state of the US, led by Anthony Goins, Economic Development Minister of Nebraska state.

At the reception, Mr. Dung said that Binh Duong has always been evaluated as one of the country’s top localities in terms of socio-economic development and FDI attraction. In 2022 alone, the province attracted US$3.1 billion in FDI capital. The US currently ranks 13th among 65 countries and territories having investment projects in Binh Duong, with 133 projects, total investment capital of more than US$ 1.34 billion.
Mr. Dung wanted Nebraska state to be an important bridge to establish trade and investment relations between Vietnam and the US. He also said that Binh Duong province has appreciated and supported the US businesses in general and Nebraska state in particular to explore and invest in the province. Binh Duong is ready to create favorable conditions in terms of policies, clean land fund and orientation for green and sustainable development while wanting to cooperate with the state to exchange students in order to improve the province's high-quality human resources.
Mr. Anthony Goins expressed his belief that in the coming time, Nebraska state will strengthen cooperation with Binh Duong province, especially in the fields of manufacturing, education, student exchange, high-tech investment, and investment promotion.
