Binh Duong well implements Project 06

On July 3, at Provincial Administrative Center, Vo Van Minh, Deputy Secretary of Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Provincial People's Committee, chaired a conference to review the implementation of Project "Development of applications of population data, electronic identification and authentication for national digital transformation in 2022 -2025 period, with a vision to 2030” (referred to as Project 06) over the first 6 months of 2023 in the province and set out tasks and solutions in the future.

With people as the center and the goal in the implementation of Project 06 and identifying Project 06 as one of the key tasks, Binh Duong Provincial People's Committee directed the implementation of Project 06 and conduct extensive propagation among the people, direct People's Committees of districts and communes to establish working groups to effectively implement the project tasks, creating favorable conditions for the people, especially the register for online public services.

Up to now, 9/9 units of district level established working groups; at commune level, 91/91 units established working groups; and 585/585 units established working groups for hamlets/quarters. Regarding citizen identification, the whole province issued 1,992,195/1,995,687, reaching 99.83%. In which, permanent residents: 1,011,841/1,013,213, reaching 99.86%; temporary residence: 980,354/982,474, reaching 99.78%.

Regarding the issuance of electronic identification accounts, as of June 23, 2023, Binh Duong received 1,116,501/1,225,365 records, reaching the rate of 91%; total activated accounts was 570,478/1,225,365 cases, reaching 47%...

At the conference, Major General Le Minh Hieu, Deputy Director of Department C06-Ministry of Public Security, highly appreciated the roles and responsibilities of Provincial People's Committee, Provincial Public Security, departments, agencies, districts, towns and cities in data cleaning, well implementing Project 06. Binh Duong continues to mobilize the entire political system to perform well the tasks of Project 06, especially the roles and responsibilities of the heads of Party committees at all levels in data cleaning, mobilizing the whole society’s involvement, accompanying Project 06 to be successful, bringing practical benefits to people and authorities at all levels in building e-government and digital government in the future.

Mr. Vo Van Minh noted that departments, agencies, police at all levels, People's Committees of districts and communes mobilize all forces to activate electronic identity accounts to meet the targets according to the plan of Provincial Working Group for Project 06/CP; proactively connect and share data between the National Population Database; enhance popularization and assist people in using public services to do administrative procedures...
