Binh Duong well realizes army’s rear work

Update: 12-02-2022 | 12:47:31

In recent years, Party committees and authorities at all levels in the province have always paid special attention to taking care of and implementing policies on the army's rear. This not only upholds political - spiritual factors, builds the “battle of the “People's hearts", but also a practical task to encourage the spirit of each soldier before going on a mission, contributing to ensuring that the target of recruit handover is achieved at all 3 levels with increasing quality.

Growing up from military environment

Although two years passed, the memory of soldier Kieu Tan Dat in Bau Bang district’s Lai Hung commune has still remembered the feeling of emotional recovery during the recruit handover ceremony in that year. He felt very happy because the attention of the Party and government was a motivation for him to strive, study and train, overcome all difficulties, and successfully complete his tasks during his time in the army. And, on January 13, soldier Kieu Tan Dat completed his military service and returned to his hometown. On his return, he shared: “After two years of being trained in the military environment, I feel that I have matured a lot, with firm stance, lived with goals, ideals, and a clear will to strive in order not to waste my youth. This is also the memory in my life that I have remembered the most about comradeship, helping each other complete tasks”.

Phu Hoa ward in Thu Dau Mot city gave orders calling for enlistment and gifts to the local young people who are recruited

Over the past time, localities considered the army’s rear work as the main front to improve the quality of annual army recruitment. With concrete actions, provincial Party committees, authorities and Military Service councils at all levels have strengthened their confidence so that recruits can confidently set off for military service to fulfill their obligations.

Voluntarily writing forms for enlistment

Not only encouraging the spirit of determination to fulfill the obligations to recruits, localities have paid special importance to taking care of families with children working in the army. Every year, before each enlistment season, the local Military Service Councils have set up delegations to encourage and visit the families of new recruits as well as soldiers on active duty for timely help…

This is a voluntary application for enlistment from Bui Xuan Tien in Thu Dau Mot city’s Tan An ward

Senior lieutenant-colonel Le Thanh Phuong, Politician of Ben Cat town’s Military Command said that in every recruitment season, localities in Ben Cat town have offered gifts to new recruits before leaving for duty. For families with children working in the military, especially lonely families with difficult circumstances..., they have always received timely help from local authorities and mass organizations...

On the enlistment day, new recruits are seen off by a solemn farewell ceremony carrying the faith and expectations of the local Party, government and people. On the day of completing their duty, returning to the locality, they are joyfully welcomed, praised and recognized for their results in the process of performing their duty while receiving consultancy on employment, vocational training...from functional agencies.

From taking good care of the army’s rear work, many soldiers have voluntarily applied to be enlisted. The case of Bui Xuan Tien in Thu Dau Mot city’s Tan An ward is a typical example. Bui Xuan Tien can apply for a temporary suspension of military service, due to having difficult circumstances with 2 brothers who have performed military service, but he voluntarily wrote an application to join the army, with the desire of serving in the commando brigade 429, where two older brothers were in the army. With his youth and enthusiasm, Bui Xuan Tien promises to try his best to study and train in order to become a good soldier, striving to fulfill his sacred duty to the Fatherland…

In the impetus of the first days of the New Year, each recruit is boiling with determination to contribute a part of his efforts to protecting the Fatherland. They tell themselves that they will successfully complete tasks during the training period. This is because they are always sent off thoughtfully and welcomed solemnly when returning. And, concerns about their hometowns will be well taken care of by the Party committees and local authorities.
