Binh Duong wins 15 gold, silver and bronze medals at 2013 southeastern Vovinam champs

The 2013 Southeastern Vovinam Championships has just concluded in Ba Ria-Vung Tau province after two fierce days of competition.

Finally, Binh Duong won 5 gold medals from outstanding athletes, namely Pham Thi Xuan Mai, Dang Van Quang, Nguyen Van Manh, Pham Tan Duy Son and Pham Truong Sa. With 5 gold medals, 5 silver medals and 5 bronze medals, Binh Duong and Dong Nai were ranked among top 3 teams at the tournament. Ba Ria-Vung Tau took the lead at the tournament.

This year’s tournament absorbed 120 athletes from 6 southeastern provinces and cities, including Ba Ria-Vung Tau, Tay Ninh, Binh Thuan, Binh Duong, Dong Nai and Binh Phuoc. They competed in two events: combat and demonstration.
