Binh Duong wins 3 gold medals, 1 bronze medal at 4th Southeast Asian Karatedo Champs

Particularly, Nguyen Thanh Duy grasped a gold medal in the 60kg-weight category after defeating his Malaysian rival with 3-1 score. The remaining two gold medals went to Tran Pham Viet Thong and Nguyen Minh Phung in the 67kg and 84kg-weight categories, respectively. Athletes of Binh Duong also contributed to a silver medal of Vietnamese Karatedo team in the men’s team event at the tournament.
With 12 gold, 4 silver and 9 bronze medals, Vietnamese Karatedo team topped the tournament. It was followed by Thailand with 6 gold, 13 silver and 8 bronze medals.
