Binh Duong wins 6 medals at national Pencak Silat Club championship

Binh Duong has just pocketed 1 gold medal, 1 silver medal and 4 bronze medals at the National Pencak Silat Club Championship that is taking place in the northern province of Thanh Hoa.

Particularly, Phung Thi Phuong Thao of Binh Duong won the championship title in the women’s 45kg-weight category. Silver medal of Binh Duong went to Le Nguyen Thanh Long. Among the 4 bronze medals of Binh Duong, 2 came from young athletes of provincial Gifted Sports School.

This year’s tournament includes 20 events for women in the 45kg-75kg weight categories and men in the 45kg-95kg weight categories. It is expected to conclude tomorrow morning, June 3.
