Binh Duong wins B prize at 27th southeastern fine arts exhibition

Early August 9, the 27th Southeastern Fine Arts Exhibition 2022 opened at Binh Phuoc provincial Museum.

Taking place from now until August 17, the exhibition displays more than 200 works, including paintings, graphics, sculptures and applied arts, by 128 artists from the Vietnam Fine Arts Association, the Literature - Arts Association of the provinces Binh Phuoc, Binh Duong, Binh Thuan, Dong Nai, Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Tay Ninh, Lam Dong, Ninh Thuan and Dak Nong.

At the exhibition, Binh Duong has 29 works from 24 authors selected for display. Particularly, author Hoang Van Cu won the B prize (no A prize) and Nguyen Van Quy grasped the consolation prize. In addition, the Vietnam Fine Arts Association awarded the certificates of merit and recommended 4 members of Binh Duong provincial Fine Arts Association to the Fine Arts Award organized by the Vietnam Union of Literature and Arts Associations in 2022, including Hong Khoi, Xuan Kim, Minh Phuong and Thanh Loan.

The exhibition is co-organized by the Vietnam Fine Arts Association and the People's Committee of Binh Phuoc province in order to create conditions for painters and artists in the region to exchange and share creative experience, learn about the land, culture and people region of Binh Phuoc, inspiring them to create high-quality art works.
