Binh Duong wins two gold medals at the National Strong Clubs’ Vovinam Cup 2023

On April 14, the 2023 National Strong Clubs’ Vovinam Cup hosted by Binh Duong ended successfully after nearly a competition week. The host team Binh Duong won 2 Gold Medals and 7 Bronze Medals in the fighting event.

Accordingly, fighter Dieu Trung brought home a gold medal in the over-80kg weight category. Meanwhile, female fighter Dinh Thi Phuong Hao brought home the second gold medal for Binh Duong Vovinam in the 57kg weight category.  

In the end, Ho Chi Minh City was ranked first in team category with 13 gold medals and 4 silver medals. Meanwhile, Can Tho finished second with 10 gold medals, 2 silver medals, and 1 bronze medal. Third place belongs to Dong Nai with 4 gold medals, 2 silver medals, and 2 bronze medals.

The 2023 National Strong Clubs Vovinam Cup hosted by Binh Duong was a great success with a total of 320 athletes from 30 strong clubs nationwide.

On April 15, at Binh Duong Provincial Convention and Exhibition Center, the new term congress of Vietnam Vovinam Federation (VVF) will take place. On the same day, the 85th anniversary of Vovinam and the 25th founding anniversary of Uni Group will take place.
