Binh Duong youth: Aspiration, pioneer, creativity

From December 14 to 16, the 12th National Congress of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, tenure 2022-2027, took place in Hanoi. The Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Binh Duong province attended the congress with 13 delegates. With an action slogan "Aspiration - Pioneering - Solidarity - Courage - Creativity", the congress demonstrated the political determination of Vietnamese youth in the new era.

The 12th National Congress of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, tenure 2022-2027, reviewed the implementation of the 2017-2022 resolution; identified goals, tasks, solutions for Youth Union operations and youth movement 2022-2027; elected the 12th Central Committee of Youth Union, tenure 2022-2027; supplemented and amend Youth Union’s Charter and approve the amended and supplemented Youth Union’s Charter. In addition, the congress had meaningful and practical activities to foster the youth spirit and affirm the role of the Youth Union.

As a young representative of the provincial youth delegation, duringng her participation in the congress, Nguyen Minh Nguyet, Youth Union Secretary of Chanh Nghia Ward (Thu Dau Mot City), felt a great honor. For Nguyet, the congress brought an opportunity to learn many new useful things for youth activities.

Similarly, Lam Hoang Thuy Trang, Secretary of Di An City Youth Union, the national congress gave her an opportunity to take part in many interesting activities and visit exhibition areas. The exhibitions were very practical, including "Ho Chi Minh Cultural Space" with a lot of useful information, promoting the spirit of continuing to study and follow Ho Chi Minh's thought, morality and lifestyle.

Like other delegates, Nguyen Thanh Lam, a Provincial Youth Union officer, felt very honored as attending the congress and visiting digital technology applications. This is an interesting experience helping the delegates understand more about achievements in digital, electronic - telecommunication areas; thereby arousing and spreading the spirit of non-stop creativity, not afraid of difficulties among young people, especially in the era of digital transformation.

A delegate of the congress, Tran Thien Loc, Secretary of Tan Uyen Town Youth Union, said: “At the congress, delegates visited the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, red addresses, and historical sites in Hanoi capital; watched a play about the first member of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union - Hero and martyr Ly Tu Trong.

I also visited a photo exhibition named “Aspiration for Dedication - Reason for Living of Youth” with many typical and outstanding cultural products, educational and propagation publications, and scientific technological products. These are activities to foster love for the country and youth spirit…”.

To promote the role

The delegates attending the congress fully joined all contents, activities, and programs, contributing to the overall success of the congress. At the congress, the delegates discussed six topics, including: "Aspiration for Dedication - Reason for Living of Youth", "Youth Pionner - Creativity for Build the country", "Youth Union - A companion for youth", "Building a strong Youth Union - For dear juniors", "Vietnamese youth firmly integrate", "Building a strong Youth Union, worthy of being a reliable reserve team of the Party".

On the other hand, the delegates focused on proposing solutions, contributing to the Youth Union’s effective implementation of propagation and education task; revolutionary action movements, programs to accompany young people, take charge of the Young Pioneers Team, and protect, care for teenagers and children, international youth work...

The congress gave young people confidence and aspiration to rise up, to overcome all difficulties and challenges, confidently take on an important role in the cause of homeland building and defending.

Tran Thien Loc, Secretary of Tan Uyen Town Union, shared: “The Congress affirmed the youth's reason for living in the current period and in the next term, that is a desire for dedication. Youth's dedication must be expressed in all social areas. Every young person must make efforts, try to perfect and develop themselves, study and work in the best way. That dedication must orient towards the goal of mutual development, bringing efficiency to the community…”.

Tran Thi Diem Trinh, Secretary of Binh Duong Provincial Youth Union, said: “The congress took place seriously and raised the sense of responsibility for the important tasks of the Youth Union and youth movement; fostering and promoting youth in the new period. The youth delegation of Binh Duong province actively participated in discussions and contributed many constructive ideas.

Following the Central Youth Union's direction, after the congress, Provincial Youth Union will respond to the "Youth’s Action Day" with volunteering activities, take part in the digital transformation, taking care of and supporting teenagers, children… Through programs and movements to well implement resolutions of all-level Youth Union congresses; uphold enthusiasm, responsibility, and wisdom of the youth, and open a period of dynamic and creative development of provincial youth".
