Promoting the traditions of the Vietnam Youth Federation, generations of Binh Duong youth are not afraid of difficulties and hardships, fight selflessly, and are creative in labor, volunteer and unite to help each other, contribute to building and protecting the Fatherland.

Promote traditions

From October 8 to October 15, 1956, the Central Vietnam Youth Federation and the National Youth Front Campaign Committee convened a congress at Hanoi Opera House to unify Vietnamese youth organizations and named it Vietnam Youth Federation. The third National Congress of Vietnam Youth Federation in 1994 decided to take October 15 every year as the traditional day of Vietnam Youth Federation.

Promoting tradition, in recent years, Binh Duong Provincial Youth Union has focused on building a strong organization, constantly expanding both the scale and quality of activities. Association levels established many new member associations and have operated effectively, such as: Start-up Youth Club, Pioneer Club, Green Environment Club...

In particular, Provincial Youth Federation concretized the movement "I love my Fatherland" launched by the Central Vietnam Youth Federation into the "I love Binh Duong" journey that has been maintained for many years. Grassroots associations also opened many activities for the community and social welfare that have brought about the effect of gathering and uniting youth from all fields, creating a great unity to carry out local political tasks.

With the outstanding contributions of generations of association officials, members and youth in the province, Youth Federation of the province was honored with the second-class Labor Medal awarded by the President in 2015; the annual leading emulation flag from the Central Vietnam Youth Federation and many certificates of merit from the Central Federation, Provincial Party Committee, and Provincial People's Committee.

Strengthen youth gathering

2023 is the year that Youth Federations at all levels in the province are urgently completing the targets set by the Resolution of Vietnam Youth Federation Congress at all levels for the 2019-2024 term, creating a premise for the organization of Youth Federation Congress at all levels for the 2024-2029 term. In particular, the Provincial Youth Federation is one of 6 units to be chosen to convene the provincial conference for the 2024-2029 term.

In that spirit, the entire association continues to promote the achieved results and actively implement the program "Accompanying young people to establish themselves and start a career". The work of building and developing organizations and expanding the solidarity front to gather youth is carried out by associations at all levels with many new and appropriate methods. In addition, Youth Federation at all levels also increase contact with young people in the area, connect lodging houses, business units to organize programs and activities caring for young people.

Nguyen Thanh Thao, Deputy Secretary of Provincial Youth Union, Chairwoman of Provincial Youth Union, said: “In the coming time, associations at all levels in the province will focus on completing the targets set by Congress Resolution at all levels for the 2019-2024 term; at the same time, organize activities to welcome Youth Federation Congress at all levels for the 2024-2029 term. The Provincial Youth Union Secretariat mobilized all officials, members, and young people to actively take part in the movement "I love my Fatherland" and the journey "I love Binh Duong". This movement contributes to raising young people’s awareness of patriotism, self-reliance, self-reliance, and cultivating ambitions and ideals; From there, actively participate in implementing movements and campaigns of the association. On the other hand, youth members in the province need to constantly strive to improve with self-discipline in studying, training, solidarity and volunteering for the community, contributing to building and strengthening the youth federation".

After more than half a century of building and striving to grow under the leadership of the Party, with the core political role of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, the Vietnam Youth Federation has always been worthy of being a broad social organization of patriotic young people and Vietnamese youth organizations according to Ho Chi Minh's ideology and the ideals of the Communist Party of Vietnam; unite all classes of young people to strive for the ideal of national independence and socialism, for the goal of rich people, strong country, democracy, justice, civilization, for the happiness and progress of young people…
