On the afternoon of April 19, together with other symposia of the scientific workshop on "Following tradition, Binh Duong province with a quarter-century journey: Achievements and prospects", the symposium on economics - urban development was organized to summarize and introduce typical scientific reports by prestigious speakers from research, management and training agencies on economics and urban development across the country while opening up discussion contents, proposing development orientations and solutions for Binh Duong province.

Speaking at the event, Prof - Dr. Nguyen Xuan Thang emphasized: Binh Duong has passed through a quarter century with impressive results in socio-economic development. The development model and innovative way of Binh Duong are a prominent mark in the country's renewal process. Based on the achieved foundation, we fully believe that Binh Duong will continue being a local model in efforts to overcome the middle-income trap, sustainably developing towards a smart and civilized city; striving to become a city under the central management, a modern industrial hub by 2030 and a smart city of the region and the whole country by 2045; joining hands with the whole country to realize the vision and goal of turning Vietnam into a socialist-oriented, high-income, developed nation by the middle of the 21st century.
