To inherit the results from the project "Heightening law-abiding awareness for youth in Binh Duong province in the period of 2014-2018" (hereafter called the project), Project Steering Committee of Provincial Youth Union continued to carry out main tasks on the dissemination of laws in 2019 to create a foundation for the project implementation in the coming time.
Over 5 years, the Project Steering Committee organized many effective activities to contribute to raising law-abiding awareness for union members, students, and people in whole province. These were activities: Propagating and consulting about laws, organizing contests to learn laws; regularly giving trainings for project reporters to improve knowledge and skills; issuing law communicating publications such as handbooks, leaflets... After phase 2014-2018, many effective models in law communication appeared, such as: The application of information technology to organize online competitions to learn about laws of Thu Dau Mot City; collaborating with units to carry out law propagation in youth union meetings, seminars, organizing dialogues between company leaders and employees, young workers in Phuoc Hoa Rubber Joint Stock Company...
Steering Committee of Project "Heightening law-abiding awareness for young people in Binh Duong province in the period of 2014-2018" organizes law propagation activities in Tan Uyen town.
At the same time, in the last 5 years, the Project Organizing Committee held a writing contest themed "Understanding law on marriage and family and law on domestic violence prevention and control" for youth union members in and outside the province. As a result, 3,336 articles participated in the competition; 152 mobile propaganda and counseling sessions on laws were carried out; 8 types of folding sheets with 104,000 publications were compiled on the following contents: Law on Military Service, Law on Anti-Corruption, Law on Civil Status, Law on Marriage and Family, Labor Law, Health Insurance Law, Law on Social Insurance... and were distributed to a large number of youth union members and people within mobile law propagation sessions and law contests; and 2,000 law-answering handbooks were compiled and issued... Through the results achieved in the past 5 years, the project met the needs of youngsters for law and regulation learning, increasingly promoting effectiveness in resolving concerns, questions and providing a large amount of knowledge for children, people and especially young workers in the province.
In order to propagate and disseminate laws in the coming time, Nguyen Thi Ngoc Xuan, Secretary of Provincial Youth Union, Head of the Project Steering Committee, said that the Steering Committee required units urgently consolidate, strengthen and improve the quality of volunteer teams and law propagation clubs at their units with the core force including young volunteers; at the same time, develop a propagation program with flexible schedule, cooperate with many units to integrate a variety of activities to ensure attracting and adapting to the needs of young people in localities; continue to enhance the work of discovering, praising and expanding good models, creative ways, examples of law communication and education, avoiding showing off, promoting effectiveness, to be more practical...
