Books’ Week will be held from 16-26 April

In order to enhance propagation of Vietnam Book Day (April 21), raise all levels, sectors, organizations and individuals’ awareness of the meaning and importance of books, and affirm the position , role of books in social life, contribute to building reading culture in the community, this year, Books’ Week is held from 16-26 April.

Accordingly, Department of Information and Communication is responsible for planning and collaborating with relevant units to host Books’ Week with booths, exhibition and displaying of books, introducing books, selling books at favorable prices… Besides guiding reading skills, selecting books suitable for each subject and the forms of performing arts integrated with propagation content of reading among the community, encouraging the reading movement in schools, libraries...
