Boosting mobilization on voluntary blood donation

Under the National Target Program on Blood Transfusion Safety, Dau Tieng district’s Steering Board of Voluntary Blood Donation has always paid attention to propaganda work.

The whole district is now home to 12 voluntary blood squads with 355 members; 12 reserve blood donation squads with 159 members and 13 propaganda squads with 160 members and 1 voluntary blood donation club with 25 members. They are seen as a main force in the local voluntary blood donation campaign. Along with giving blood, they have actively mobilized many other people to get involved in this significant deed. This has contributed to promoting the local voluntary blood donation campaign.

In 2015 alone, the district’s ratio of voluntary blood donation mobilization reached 123% of the province’s target and 112% of the district’s target.
