Implementing the 10th Central Party Committee Executive Board’s Resolution No.25/NQ-TW on “strengthening the Party’s leadership for youth activities in industrialization and modernization”, many projects and programs have met youths’ legitimate demand.
Party’s resolution goes into life
Resolution No.25/NQ-TW has upheld its positive efficiency, strengthening the Party’s leadership for youth work. Attention and conditions offered by party committees at all levels have helped youths raise their awareness and thought. Along to the Party’s leadership, Youth Union’s activities have been expanded with key contents. For example, through the mobilization of “Studying and following Ho Chi Minh’s moral examples”, youths’ awareness and action have created strong changes.
The all level party committees have paid attention to arrange work for young officials. With the motto of bringing new blood into units, agencies have paid attention to planning manpower. The rate of youth unions’ officials at all levels has reached 67.6%. All level agencies have constantly trained and fostered young officials.
Under the consultancy of youth union, the provincial People’s Committee ratified many projects and programs to create big hallmarks in youth work including universalizing IT, disseminating legal knowledge, helping poor youths, gathering young workers, setting volunteer youth teams for environment and so on.
Youth activities develop stronger and stronger
Under the support of the Party, Youth Union has showed its role and responsibility in raising knowledge and awareness for youths, building a healthy environment and enhancing spiritual life for young generation.
Scholarship programs have encouraged youths to be active in study, labor, creation that help 2,400 youths enjoy loans worth over VND49bil. Youth union has also introduced jobs and counseled career for youths. As of Aug. 2010, the entire province had 85,848 unionists, 30% of whom are admitted into the Party organization.
In addition, there are youths joining in arresting robbers and cooperating with policemen to control traffic circulation and offer first aid for traffic accidents’ victims…
Vice secretary of the provincial youth union Nguyen Khoa Hai, said the resolution, launched synchronously has really helped youth work develop strongly.
However, some localities have lacked synchronous extension of the resolution, causing obstacles for youth development work. Therefore, the shortcoming should be improved to develop youth work more comprehensively.
