On the afternoon of October 19, provincial Party Standing Committee held a conference to briefly inform the results of the 13th Party Central Committee’s 8th session and implement a number of key tasks until the end of 2023. Nguyen Van Loi, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Head of provincial National Assembly deputy delegation chaired the conference.

The conference was held online at 98 district and commune-level points, including 13 district-level points, 85 commune-level points with the participation of 8,300 officials, Party members and civil servants.

At the conference, Mr. Loi quickly announced the results of the 13th Party Central Committee’s 8th session. Accordingly, the conference took place from October 2 to 8 in Hanoi, which was presided over by Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong. The conference discussed and gave opinions on the following contents: Report on the socio-economic situation, State budget in 2023, plan for 2024; State financial and budget plan for 3 years from 2024 to 2026 and the application of a new salary policy. In addition, the conference summarized 15 years of implementing the 10th Party Central Committee’s Resolution No. 27-NQ/TW dated August 6, 2008 on building a contingent of intellectuals in the promoted period of national industrialization and modernization, established subcommittees to prepare for the 14th Party Congress...

Mr.Loi also implemented a number of key tasks in the coming time while requesting all-level authorities and sectors, especially leaders, to be determined to remove businesses’ obstacles and find out bottlenecks for timely solution. Localities and relevant units were ordered to further pay attention to drastically implementing the disbursement of public investment capital while clarifying responsibilities for investors in slow capital disbursement.

Provincial Party Committee Secretary asked for relevant localities and units to soon complete plans to submit them to provincial People's Committee Chairman for approval and implementation; resolutely and persistently carry out tasks on reforming administrative procedures, making digital transformation, implementing the Project No.06, building a smart city; prepare conditions to welcome the Tet (Lunar New Year) festival 2024, ensure military recruitment in 2024; focus on effectively implementing the building of the Party and the political system. The local Fatherland Front, socio-political organizations and mass organizations need to continue strongly focusing on grassroots activities to take care of the lives of policy families, workers and those with difficult circumstances...

At the conference, Vo Van Minh, Vice-Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Chairman of provincial People's Committee reported the local socio-economic situation in the first 9 months of 2023 and implemented key tasks for the remaining 3 months of the year.

*At the conference, provincial Party Executive Committee for the 2020-2025 tenure elected Nguyen Chi Trung, Permanent Deputy Head of provincial Party Committee's Organization Commission as  member of provincial Party Standing Committee for the 2020-2025 tenure, Chairman of provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission for the 2020-2025 tenure while announcing a decision of the Secretariat of the CPV Central Committee on appointing Tran Thi Diem Trinh, Secretary of provincial Youth Union as member of  provincial Party Executive Committee for the 2020-2025 tenure.
