Brilliant flag street

On April 23, in Thanh Hoi commune (Tan Uyen city), the Provincial Party Propagation and Education Committee coordinated with Nguoi Lao Dong (Laborer) Newspaper and Tan Uyen City Party Committee to organize a flag awarding ceremony and inaugurate the "Fatherland Flag Street". Truong Thi Bich Hanh, Member of Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of Provincial Party Propagation and Education Committee, attended the ceremony.

The national flag street with 2,000 flags in Thanh Hoi commune has a length of nearly 2km, from the beginning of Thanh Hoi bridge to People's Committee of Thanh Hoi commune to the end point at the national archaeological relic site of Rua isle.

Speaking at the ceremony, Ms. Truong Thi Bich Hanh said that in 2024, Nguoi Lao Dong newspaper presented to the Provincial Party Propagation and Education Committee 10,000 national flags from the program "Pride of the national flag", to continue coordinating and implementing the "Fatherland Flag Street" project in Binh Duong province. According to the expected plan, Binh Duong province will carry out this project in four localities, including: Tan Uyen City, Thu Dau Mot City, Dau Tieng District, Phu Giao District, and 2 localities outside the province, including: Na Khe commune, Yen Minh district, Ha Giang province and Con Co island of Quang Tri province. Ms. Truong Thi Bich Hanh suggested that in the coming time, Tan Uyen City continues to deploy, replicate and spread the "Fatherland Flag Street" in the city to continue strengthening propaganda and raising enhance national pride, patriotic traditions and better understand the profound and sacred meaning of the Fatherland's flag.

Previously, the Head of Provincial Party Propagation and Education Committee and leaders of Tan Uyen City visited and donated the book "Continuing tradition, Binh Duong province's journey of a quarter of a century" to the private library of journalist Mai Song Be.
