Receiving and working with the delegation, Jack Xu, General Director of Motomotion Vietnam Co.Ltd. which is specialized in manufacturing smart furniture equipment in the My Phuoc 3 Industrial Park said that the company has operated under the "3 on-site production model" for 2 months. “Currently, the company's employees are familiar with staying at the factory. In addition, many outside workers also want to come back to work. Although living at the company is not as good as at home, workers have tried very hard to overcome difficulties to share with the company in the current situation," said Mr. Jack Xu.

According to Mr. Jack Xu, in 2021, the company has set a target of reaching VND 6 trillion in revenue. But, the company has so far gained more than VND3trillion, due to the impact of the pandemic. However, the company still believes and has high expectations of the development when there is a plan building one more factory of 120,000 sq.m-150,000 sq.m for production expansion in the next period, thereby creating jobs for about 6,000 workers.

The delegation also visited and learned about production and business at Nutifood Binh Duong Joint Stock Company in the My Phuoc 1 Industrial Park. Nguyen Huu Hoang, Director of the company said that before the pandemic, the company had a total of 699 employees. Under the "3 on-site" production model, the company only has 534 employees. The company has arranged living, sleeping, and dining infrastructure in 7 separate workshops with 25 locations for workers, ensuring conditions for them to stay and work.

In addition, the company has also invested in medical supplies for treatment if having F0 cases with the installation of 2 oxygen generators, 4 blood oxygen meters, 1,500 quick test kits and Covid-19 drugs guided by the Ministry of Health. For workers to feel secure to stay and work, the company has organized 3 meals a day for workers, supported the living expense of VND3million per worker per month. As of September 30, each worker will receive additional VND 5 million. Mr. Hoang added that the factory's total revenue last year was VND 8.8 trillion. This year, it is very difficult for the company to achieve its plan on production and business, due to the impact of the pandemic.

On behalf of provincial leaders, Mr. Loi thanked and acknowledged the efforts by the local enterprises in maintaining production, contributing to ensuring the supply of goods to the market over the past time. The "3 on-site" enterprises have actively cooperated with local authorities to well perform Covid-19 prevention and control. Their effort in maintaining the "3 on-site" production model is to contribute to the implementation of the Government's "dual goals" of maintaining production activities and ensuring Covid-19 prevention and control.

Mr.Loi also spoke highly of the implementation of the "3-on-the-spot" production model at enterprises while wanting that from now until September 30, the province will bring socio-economic activities back to a “new normal” state. Province-based enterprises need to further uphold results achieved in Covid-19 prevention and control. They also need to pay attention to strengthening Covid-19 prevention and control measures against the risk of infection from outside…

Further upholding role of mobile medical stations

Following the above inspection tour, Mr. Loi and members of the delegation inspected Covid-19 prevention and control in Hoa Binh ward’s quarter 6, the "special red zone" of Ben Cat town.

According to leader of Ben Cat town, this area has about 29,000 residents, most of them are workers living at lodging facilities. Over the past few days, the locality also conducted large-scale Covid-19 testing to "separate" F0 cases from the community. However, the number of F0 cases still exists in the area. Analyzing and commenting on the prolonged appearance of F0 cases in this area over the past time, Mr.Loi noted that one of the reasons leading to the above situation was that some people have not implemented social distancing measures and the "5K" message of the Ministry of Health seriously.

He asked for the locality to strengthen supervision and strictly handle violations in blockade areas, thereby stopping the sources of infection. He also requested leaders of Ben Cat town and Thoi Hoa ward to mobilize their forces to "fight fast", "separate" F0 cases from the community. The "dense red" wards like Thoi Hoa need to organize 2 to 3 mobile medical stations, ensuring public healthcare while ensuring effective Covid-19  prevention and control, there by contributing to reducing the number of severe Covid-19 cases and deaths in the coming time.

In addition, he emphasized that provincial Party Standing Committee has approved a plan asking for localities across the province to conduct Covid-19 testing in order to separate all F0 cases from the community within 5 days until September 26. The local medical forces, especially mobile medical stations will play a key role in handling Covid-19 outbreaks as well as treating asymptomatic F0 cases who are being isolated, monitored and treated at their places of residence in the coming time.

Nguyen Van Loi, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Head of provincial National Assembly Deputy Delegation, Head of provincial Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control said that provincial Industrial Parks ‘Management Board will coordinate with local authorities to implement mobile medical stations in areas with 10,000 and 12,000 workers to carry out Covid-19 prevention-control while providing healthcare for workers…
