This is an annual activity organized to care for children with difficult circumstances during the Tet (Lunar New Year) festival in the province. It is known that there will be three Spring Journeys for children with difficult situations across the province. The first journey will be held in Thuan An city; the second journey will take place in North Tan Uyen district and the third journey will be organized at provincial Association for the Blind.

Joining hands to care for disadvantaged people

As part of the activities to support children with difficult circumstances during the Tet festival, provincial Children's Cultural House organized the "Welcome Spring 2025" program. In addition to artistic performances, the program also served as an opportunity for the community to express their feelings and join hands to care for children in need. The organization board presented 8 gifts to students from charity classes and those with difficult circumstances in the province while organizing an auction for 2 items to raise funds for the "Spring Tree for Children with Difficult Circumstances to Celebrate Tet".

According to Nguyen Phan Thai Anh, Director of provincial Children's Cultural House, the "Welcome Spring 2025" program was not only an opportunity for members of “Mang non” (Young Shoot) art troupe under provincial Children's Cultural House to showcase their talent, but also a reminder of sharing and love within the community. Through activities such as distributing red envelopes, collecting teddy bears for donation and issuing the 2025 Spring calendar, the program mobilized contributions from many individuals and charitable organizations to bring meaningful Tet gifts to disadvantaged children.

With resources built through the program, provincial Children's Cultural House will organize activities to support needy children who are studying and living in Phu Giao district and North Tan Uyen district, disadvantaged children receiving treatment at provincial General Hospital, children at charity classes and offspring of workers living away from home. "It is the love and sharing from the community that will bring a warm spring, helping children with difficult circumstances have a joyful and fulfilling Tet", Mr. Anh added.
