Update: 07-08-2023 | 10:36:37

On August 6, Thu Dau Mot (TDM) city’s Fatherland Front Committee in collaboration with the Executive Board of the city’s Buddhist Sangha organized a program to implement criteria of "citizens with 5 exemplary performances” and build up "a city without waste" among dignitaries, monks and nuns and followers at Hoi An pagoda.

In order to contribute to building up a civilized, clean and beautiful locality towards sustainable environment, leaders of TDM city called for Buddhists monks, nuns and followers to join hands in implementation of the "City without waste" model, building up a "green, clean, beautiful and civilized" city by such practical actions as limiting single-use plastic products; cleaning up  temples, pagodas...

After the launching ceremony, about 1,000 Buddhist dignitaries, monks, nuns and followers coordinated with Youth Union members and locals to clean up some roads in Hoa Phu ward.
