Mr. Tran Thanh Liem, Deputy Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Chairman of PPC, emphasized that in his speech at the meeting celebrating the 41^st anniversary of the southern liberation and the national reunification (04.30.1975 - 04.30.2016). Mr. Tran Thanh Liem confirmed: 41 years after the liberation, especially 30 years of reform and nearly 20 years of provincial re-establishment, from the starting point of an agricultural province, but with a dynamic spirit, creativity, solidarity, Binh Duong has inherited the achievements in all aspects of the former Song Be province, continued to promote the advantages of geographical location and labor potentials, captured and effectively utilized new opportunities; gradually conducted the economic restructuring towards industrialization and modernization. Along with economic development, cultural - social aspects of the province also had many positive changes. Material and spiritual life of the people is markedly improved. Social Security achieved many positive results. Political security, social order and safety have been maintained. The political system has been gradually consolidated. Administrative procedure reform, anti-corruption, thrift practice and waste combat were focused.

Based on the evaluation of international and domestic context with favorable opportunities accompanied by challenges, Mr. Tran Thanh Liem said that the province needed to continue promoting the achievements and existing advantages, focusing on economic development, ensuring political stability and social order and security, combating with social evils ... in order to create significant changes in terms of quality and quantity, facilitate sustainable growth of the province in the future. To implement the above objectives, and create favorable conditions for economic sectors and people in the province to overcome difficulties to maintain and expand production in order to contribute to the homeland construction, Mr. Tran Thanh Liem said, from now until the end of 2016, the province would focus on some key tasks: All levels, sectors and localities, units need to prepare carefully for the successful elections of the 14^th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels (2016- 2021 tenure); disseminate, research, effectively implement the 12^th National Party and the 10^th Provincial Party Resolution and Party resolutions of all levels; enhance patriotic emulation movements, and the implementation of the "Studying and following the moral example of Ho Chi Minh" in accordance with Directive 03 of the 11^th Politburo associated with Central Resolution 4 – the 11^th term on the Party building work; strengthen the fight against hostile forces on the ideological, art cultural front, especially on occasions of major political events of the province.

In addition, the province will continue to implement solutions comprehensively, effectively to facilitate in-depth and sustainable economic growth; mobilize, exploit and efficiently use resources for development investment; apply administrative reform measures associated with effective judicial reform in order to continue to improve the investment climate and settle well legitimate requests of the people and businesses. Besides, the province will focus on the effective implementation of national target programs and projects in the field of culture - society.

On the other hand, to ensure economic growth associated with social advancement and justice in every step and every development policy; to encourage all citizens to enrich themselves legally, while actively reduce poverty, care for the life of policy families and vulnerable subjects; put more effort into socio– economic development in remote, rural areas; effectively implement policies to ensure social security; effectively solve social problems.

Mr. Tran Thanh Liem also noted another key tasks, these were to ensure political security, social order and safety, to participate in the national construction and defense, national defense and security in the new situation; develop and implement practical solutions in the fight against corruption; proactively respond to all situations to maintain political security and social order and safety; ensure security and safety for the major political events in 2016.

In his speech celebrating the 126^th birthday anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh (05.19.1890- 05.19.2016), Mr. Tran Thanh Liem reviewed great dedications ​​of ​​Uncle Ho, our beloved father, the founder of our Party, the leader of our people through challenges to win back freedom, independence for the country, for the people. "Celebrating this year's victory anniversary is also an opportunity to celebrate the 126^th birthday of Uncle Ho. This is especially significant, when the Party, government and people of Binh Duong province is implementing effectively the learning and following the moral example of Ho Chi Minh. Remembering him, being grateful to him, we learn and follow the moral example of Uncle Ho to live and work better..., "said Mr. Liem.

The Southern Liberation Day’s anniversary was also the occasion to celebrate the International Labor Day. At the ceremony, Mr. Tran Thanh Liem reviewed the formation and development of Binh Duong workers. From the beginning, Thu Dau Mot - Binh Duong workers have promoted the tradition of patriotism, trusted in the leadership of the Party, and been a firm support of the revolutionary movement over time. Today, the workforce including many workers from other provinces, cities has contributed to making changes every day, every hour in Binh Duong. With advantages, like being dynamic, enthusiastic, creative, many migrant workers have confirmed their place in their companies, successful realized their dreams and ambitions, and helped to build Binh Duong as their second hometown. 

Mr. Tran Thanh Liem said: "The contingent of workers and migrant workers in the province have made really important contributions to the development of Binh Duong.
