It is known that the cooperative’s initial asset is a ploughing machine which has been improved with many useful functions. This ploughing machine has not only given more assistance to members of the cooperative, but also helped the cooperative prosper with hundreds of big and small contacts.

Bui Le Huong, chairman of provincial Cooperative Alliance said that the criterion of setting up at least one new-style cooperative in each commune in the National Target Program for building the new countryside till 2020 is very necessary and feasible.

The prosperity of the new-style cooperatives will help localities promote the development of items on social welfare, services, living conditions…, he added.

To successfully realize this criterion, communes should further reinforce and foster their cooperatives providing service products. This is also the need of individuals and households getting involved in the agriculture-forestry-fishery sector.

They also need to attach special importance to building cooperatives in areas where goods are concentratively produced; make favorable conditions for the link among cooperatives in the process of purchasing, processing, exporting, importing farm produce, materials, machines, farming tools…

Such these part, they need to develop collective economy, which is closely linked to building agriculture with all-round development; constantly improve the lives of rural residents; build the new countryside to take care of farmers in the industrialization and modernization period under the Resolution of the 7th session of the 10th Party Central Committee and the action program of provincial Party Committee on agriculture, farmers and rural development…
