Businesses in IPs pay over US$62mil to budget

The provincial managerial board of Industrial Parks, said among 24 IPs managed by the board, 22 IPs have put into operation and lured 1,113 projects including 757 foreign projects, capitalized at US$4.9bil and 356 ones, capitalized at VND19,672bil.

Notably, in the first half of this year, the IPs-based businesses’ production and business reached over US$2.46bil, an 8.59% from 2010 and 55% of yearly plan.

Aside from production and business, the IPs-based companies paid about US$62.4mil to the budget, an 8.62% increase from 2010. Of this, foreign businesses paid over US$51mil and local ones paid about US$11.3mil.
