At the eighth session of the 10th Binh Duong Provincial People's Council, which has took place recently, the provincial leaders said that provincial departments, branches, and Provincial People's Committee proactively grasped the situation and sovle difficulties to help businesses soon recover. Since then, it has created a strong impact on employment and income, helps employees stabilize their lives. In the immediate future, the Provincial People's Committee and departments, branches will review and fully implement support packages, help businesses to recover stronger. Once enterprises recover and stabilize production, workers will have jobs and income to ensure their lives.
Employees leaving their jobs, due to difficulties in enterprises, this is a story that many people have talked about recently. Trade and business is encountering difficulties, and it is believed that because employees do not have jobs, sales are sluggish. Lodging houses have no tenants, for which the lack of jobs for workers thus leaving Binh Duong for their hometown got the blame. Enterprises facing difficulties, underemployed workers must quit their jobs, lay off work is a reality, but not as serious as rumors.
After being affected by the pandemic for a long time, already difficulties of businesses become bigger when the market is not very favorable due to conflicts between major countries. Besides, to prevent the disease, China still maintains the policy of zero Covid, has not fully opened their doors as before the pandemic, hence it is difficult for enterprises in the wood, textile garment, and footwear manufacturing industries. Faced with this situation, businesses that can't stand having to let their employees quit, while some others still have orders, but due to difficulties in raw materials, have to choose a solution of reducing working hours to retain employees. Although these workers do not lose their jobs, their income has decreased much compared to before.
To ensure jobs for employees, departments, branches and provincial Labor Confederation have introduced and transferred redundant labor from one enterprise to another, but this has not achieved the expected effect. The reason is that this is the time of Tet, many workers choose to stay at the same enterprises to have Tet bonuses and related benefits. A small number of employees take advantage of this time to return to their hometown, then they will return to work or find a new job after the New Year. It is for such reasons that labor regulation and transfer among enterprises is difficult, and enterprises that need labor to fulfill year-end orders still cannot find workers.
Solving this problem, first of all, it is necessary to remove difficulties to help enterprises assume production and business. Determining that businesses will recover, employees will be satisfied, the Provincial People's Committee and relevant agencies are finding solutions to support businesses. Finding markets, introducing partners, reviewing policies to support businesses are specific solutions that the authorities has been doing. For employees who face difficulties due to having to quit their job, in addition to introducing new jobs, departments, branches and labor unions at all levels are reviewing material support. In the near future, in order for employees to have a cozy New Year, Provincial Labor Federation and trade unions at all levels will campaign to give gifts, give train tickets for workers to return to their hometown during Tet, and call on lodging houses’ owners to reduce their room rent for employees staying in the province during Tet.
The pandemic is settling down, conflicts between major countries will pass. Believing that with the participation of many industries, businesses will recover, and employees will be happy.
