Candidates to National Assembly and People’s Council meet voters in Di An and Thu Dau Mot Town: straight forward and open

Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (VFF) has organized on May 4th a meeting for candidates to National Assembly and People’s Council to meet voters in Di An and Thu Dau Mot Town. On agenda was action plans and other issues concerned by voters.

In Thu Dau Mot Town, after introducing profiles of candidates, Central Party Commissioner cum Provincial Party Committee Secretary Mai The Trung presented the action plans with promises of being representatives of the people in close relationship to the public. Mr. Mai The Trung is delegation chief for delegates of Do Ngoc Huy, Le Thanh Nhon, Vu Trong Tai, and Phuong Huu Viet as National Assembly delegates, and Dao Van Cu (or monk Thich Minh Thien), Vo Dong Dien, Vu Minh Sang, Nguyen Thanh Tai, Dao Ngoc Nhu Tam, Pham Hong Thang, and Nguyen Thanh Toan as People’s Council delegates. The delegates are in bid for subjective sumission of public appeals to the National Assembly to resolve. In his current position, Mr. Mai The Trung promised to follow members of Standing Committee and Executive Board of the Party Committee to put all-level resolutions into practice with special attention to rapid and sustaintial development in Binh Duong.

 Specifically, he stressed on:

-          Improving investment and production environment;

-          Harmonizing relationship of industrialization and urbanization with rural modernization;

-          Ensuring national defense, public and social security during economic development;

-          Ensuring environment protection wirh culture and education development;

-          Resolving hot issues of the society;

-          Improving and reinforcing political system with administrative reforms;

-          Practicing democracy in preventing curruption and wastefulness;

-          Enhancing responsibilities of officials and cadres in servicing the public.

-          And so on.

Meanwhile, Mr. Vu Minh Sang who is now permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, cum Chairman of Provincial People’s Council, has also proposed another action plan.

Voters agreed to the action plans proposed and were hopeful for those action plans to be put into practice.

In Di An Town, the delegates including Huynh Ngoc Dang, Nguyen Van Hiep, Nguyen Thanh Hong, Tran Thuy Van Ngoc, and Le Huu Phuoc as National Assembly delegates and Nguyen Minh Giao, Dang Thi Mong Huyen, Dang Minh Hung, Ha Van Ut, Le Minh Quoc Viet, Nguyen Truong Giang, Truong Thi Bich Hanh, Nguyen Ngoc Hang, Luc Duy Lac, Tran thi Lien, and Nguyen Thanh Nghia as National Assembly delegates have alsi met the voters in a straight forward and democratic meeting.

Majority of voters asked for more measures to curb inflation and stabilize market prices. Laws should be made on basis of being close to the reality.

On behalf of the candidates, Mr. Nguyen Minh Giao promised to ensure their representative roles in the ensuring social security especially for poor people and the working class.
