Gathering strength, taking care of the poor

In 2022, together with the political system of the province, provincial FFCs at all levels have always strived to innovate operational contents and forms towards grassroots to well fulfill all functions and tasks; effectively implemented joint programs and arising tasks. Provincial FFCs at all levels have well implemented joint programs, contributing to promoting the local socio-economic development, maintaining national defense-security and ensuring the local social welfare.

The image of the countryside gets more and more thriving, thanks to the people joining hands to carry out the campaign of building a cultural and civilized lifestyle launched by authorities in collaboration with the al- level Fatherland Front Committees. Since early this year, provincial FFCs at all levels have coordinated with relevant units in propagating and mobilizing people to unite and work enthusiastically; actively participate in the patriotic emulation movements. Provincial FFCs at all levels and their member organizations have regularly kept in touch with religious dignitaries and reputable people among ethnic minorities while promoting their role in propagandizing and mobilizing people to observe the Party’s policies and the State’s laws…

Besides, provincial FFCs at all levels have created conditions for religious organizations to operate in accordance with the law, encourage ethnic and religious compatriots to actively accompany the province in socio-economic development with many practical and meaningful activities. Many operational models from ethnic and religious people in response to the emulation movements launched by provincial FFCs at all levels have continued being maintained and implemented effectively.

"Cham village volunteer group" in Dau Tieng district’s Minh Hoa commune is the most vivid evidence for the campaigns in ethnic minority areas. According to Nguyen Thi Thuy Nga, Vice-Chairwoman of Minh Hoa commune’s Fatherland Front Committee, in addition to the model of "Cham village volunteer group", Cham people here have also actively participated in new-style rural construction. Recently, Cham officials and people in Minh Hoa commune’s Hoa Loc hamlet have planted “phong linh” trees (scientifically called as Tabebuia aurea) on all the way to Cham village about 3 kilometers...

Provincial FFcs at all levels have also paid more attention to ensuring social welfare, taking care of the poor, developing the local Fund for the Poor and Relief Fund by many effective and practical forms. For example, provincial FFCs at all levels have cooperated with member organizations to actively create many sources of capital to support Youth Union members, members and people to increase production, develop home based economic models, rising up out of poverty, overcoming difficulties to stabilize their lives; coordinated with relevant units to build and repair nearly 100 “great unit”, “red scarf” charity houses...

Good, creative ways

Over the past years, the campaign of "All people unite to build civilized urban and new-style rural areas" in the province has been actively implemented and achieved many outstanding results. From the campaign, many role-model examples have emerged with good and creative ways, contributing to promoting the strength of the great national unity bloc, building up a locality with sustainable development.

Cultural standards have gradually entered into the lives of people, each family and community.

Specifically, Thu Dau Mot city has set up the motorbike group "For civilized city" and asked for sectors to give contributive ideas to the content of issuing leaflets on building up a city with "3 noughts", "4 good things", "Citizen with 5 exemplary things”. North Tan Uyen district’s FFC has also cooperated with the local Mass Mobilization Commission to establish and organize the activities of 7 self-management models in residential areas, thereby synthesizing, evaluating, consolidating and improving the operational quality of the models. The district has also further organized the registration and implementation of 14 models on "Green - Clean - Beautiful" residential areas in the phase 3 in association with the project of implementing the "Civilized - culture" lifestyle” for the period of 2021-2025 …

Tran Thi Hong Hanh, Permanent Vice-Chairwoman of provincial FFC said that since early this year, provincial FFCs at all levels and member organizations have well upheld their role in propagandizing, grasping the people's situation, mobilizing people to well implement the Party's guidelines, the State's policies and laws. The movements and campaigns hosted by the Fatherland Front have continued coordinating in propaganda and mobilization for effective implementation in line with Covid-19 prevention and control in the new situation. Many practical activities to take care of social policy beneficiaries and children who have lost loved ones, due to Covid-19 ..., greatly contributing to ensuring the local social welfare. Each content in the front work in 2022 has been concretized with detailed and convenient programs, plans and instructions in implementation.
