Champasac’s high-level delegation pays working visit to Binh Duong

At the working session, Mr.Trung applauded the delegation’s visit while wanting that this visit will promote solidarity and friendly relations between Binh Duong and Champasac as well as Vietnam and Laos. He also introduced socio-economic achievements done by the province over the past time, especially the province’s stability in socio-economic development in the first half of the year to the delegation.

The two sides also signed a nine-point cooperation agreement. Under the deal, they will join hands to implement the project of porcelain and building material development in Champasac province’s Sa Na Som Bun district. Champasac will also further survey and suggest the Government to hand over land to Dau Tieng Viet-Lao Rubber Joint Stock Company to set up the project of growing 10,000 ha of rubber tree in Champasac.

Binh Duong will further help train Champasac’s students; support Champasac’s retired high ranking officials to enjoy short-term tours to Vietnam for tourism and convalescence; assist Champasac to make modern industrial development policies, promote its development of industrial parks…

On behalf of the delegation, Mr.Son Xay Si Phan Don expressed his thanks to the leaders and people of Binh Duong while hoping that the solidarity and friendly relations between the two countries’ people will be further tightened via cooperation programs on the basis of mutual respect, mutual understanding and mutual benefits.
