Changes made on the land of revolution

On the occasion of the ongoing local Party Cell Congress, we visited Dat Cuoc Commune in North Tan Uyen District, the land of glorious resistance wars. The long-running asphalted streets, power supplying and lighting system, new houses, and industrial parks are making tremendous changes to the appearance of the locality. The growing economy and firm trust of local people in the Party leadership are affirmed by the happiness of local people waiting for the upcoming congress.

To promote heroic tradition

Dat Cuoc has become so popular in Dong Nam Bo Region for the pride and glory of national defense. In the years of resistance war against the French colony, D Warzone had become the place for Huynh Van Nghe, a poet and general, to train up the military resistance forces. Afterwards, Huynh Van Nghe soldiers were named in history books in the battles undermining the French colony. Then, in wartime against the US Army, local people of Dat Cuoc, for various occasions, defeated the US Army and its puppet authority. In wartimes, 31 locals had fallen for national defense; 67 families had made great contribution to the revolutionary causes. The sacrifice of their lives created a picture of patriotism and sustaining stance against the enemy to build up a more and more beautiful homeland.

Talking to us, Mr. Huynh Thanh Tuan, Secretary of Dat Cuoc Commune Party Committee, said: “Currently, income per capita of the locality reaches VND 30 million a year which has been tremendously increased. We no longer have families of poverty locally.”

The mentioned income per capita is not so high but the efforts to promote such increment are so appreciable. To gain such achievement, for the past tenure, Dat Cuoc Commune Party Committee has directed righteous socio-economic direction with encouragement for local people to switch to cultivation of plants of higher economic yield.

For husbandry, the communal authority has directed local people to follow technological supported farm construction. In the commune, 9 farms of cattle, pigs, and poultries have been built in such manner. As for Dat Cuoc Industrial Park, the feasibility of operations has been proved. In the future, the locomotive industries shall gain their breakthroughs for stronger local development.

All 19 new rural area criteria gained by 2018

Cherishing the achievements, the plenum of the 3^rd Congress of Dat Cuoc Commune Party Committee for the 2015-2020 tenure, express their determination for success in the future. Particularly, they approve to enhance local authority by building up staffs of firm political stance to uphold the whole public unity while attracting sustainable economic investments and transiting the economic structure in the right track. Industrial and agricultural development in new rural areas are to be boosted. They also projected to gain income per capita of VND 58 million with all 19 criteria of new rural areas met by 2018.

For the future, the potential generation shall be led by local leaders of Dat Cuoc Commune Party Committee to offer promising conditions for thorough development of North Tan Uyen District to be worthy of heroic tradition of the precedent generations who sacrificed themselves for independence, freedom, and peace of the nation.
