Minh Tan commune Farmers’ Society cadres visit dairy cow farm of Tuat.
In 1972, Vu Thi Tuat from the Northern province of Thai Binh arrived in Cambodia to be a teacher. After the Southern liberation day, she came to Minh Tan, Binh Long district (now Dau Tieng district) to start a new life. Promoting revolutionary spirit and patience, her family has thus far enjoyed a comfortable life. Tuat is one of 10 typical examples of movement of production and animal husbandry honored at a conference on the 40th anniversary of the Southern liberation day.
Tua told that in the first days in Minh Tan, she exploited forest land to plant peanut. After that, she traded agricultural materials, building materials, so her family has thus far possessed 12 ha of rubber.
After decline of rubber price, she has transferred to breed salangane. Right from the first year, she reaped more than VND100mil per month.
In addition, she has invested in breeding dairy cow, pigeon, pheasant and more. Until now, these animals have promised a big profit for her family.
With a stable income, she has invested billions of dong to build houses, open business facilities for her children.
In order to gain the mentioned achievements, she has to overcome numerous difficulties. Thanks to patience and motivation, she has reached success in business and production. She has become a typical example of good farmer in production and business in Dau Tieng district. Additionally, she has contributed positively to local administration to build gratitude and charity houses, helping poor farmers and women escape difficult life.
