*On the occasion of the Vu Lan festival 2012, Tan Uyen district’s Buddhist community has just organized an incense offering ceremony at district’s Martyrs’ Cemetery and donated two saving books worth VND2mln each to policy beneficiary families. The district-based pagodas together with charity groups have also presented more than 1,000 gifts worth between VND200,000 and VND300,000 each to disadvantaged people.

*Under the spirit of “La lanh dum la rach” (Sharing and covering each other), Hoa Tam charity group from Hung Long pagoda in Tan Uyen district has mobilized donors to build and present a charity house worth VND47mln to a poor resident in Thanh Hoi commune.

*Bo De pagoda in Thuan An town has just held the Vu Lan festival 2012 with many significant activities. On this occasion, the pagoda also presented 100 gifts worth VND100 each to disadvantaged people.
