City/district-level Party Committees simultaneously organize 2024 contest for excellent Party cell secretaries

Early June 21, Thu Dau Mot city’s Party Committee inaugurated the 2024 "Excellent Party cell Secretary" contest at the city level. The contest saw the participation of 113 contestants, who are secretaries and deputy secretaries of grassroots Party branches and committees as well as top performers from the grassroots-level "Excellent Party cell Secretary" contest.

The contest was a political activity throughout the city’s Party Committee to enhance awareness, responsibility, and understanding of the leadership role, functions, and tasks of the Party cells among Party organizations, Party members and people while improving knowledge and skills of Party cell secretaries.

*On the same day, Di An city’s Party Committee held the multiple-choice round of the 2024 "Excellent Party cell Secretary" contest. This year's contest featured 82 contestants. In the multiple-choice round, contestants answered 40 questions on Party work and professional skills. In the first round, they wrote essays sharing their insights and proposing solutions to enhance the quality of Party organization activities, improve the roles of Party members, and effectively promote the leadership of the Party Committee members in the local political tasks.

The third round, involving situation handling questions related to the written contents, is scheduled for July 2.

*On June 20 and 21, North Tan Uyen district’s Party Committee organized the 2024 "Excellent Party cell Secretary" contest with 49 contestants. The contestants competed in three testing parts, including taking a general knowledge multiple-choice test, writing essays sharing insights and proposing solutions to improve the quality of meetings at Party cells and handling situations in Party work…

*Bau Bang district’s Party Committee, on June 21, kicked off inaugurated the 2024 "Excellent Party cell Secretary" contest with 65 contestants. The contest took place in two days, with three testing parts: multiple-choice testing, essay writing and situation handling skills.

*On the afternoon of June 21, Ben Cat city’s Party Committee concluded the 2024 "Excellent Party cell Secretary" contest. After the two-day competion, with three testing parts: multiple-choice test, essay writing, and situation handling skills, Nguyen Van Binh, Vice Chairman of My Phuoc ward’s Fatherland Front Committee, Secretary of the Workers' Party cell won first prize. The two second prizes went to Vo Que Huong, Member of Ben Cat city’s Fatherland Front Standing Committee and Le Thi Nu, a teacher at the city's Vocational Training and Continuing Education Center.
