City’s FFC develops 119 self-management models on environmental protection

Over the past five years, TDM city’s Fatherland Front Committee (FFC) and wards jointly developed 119 self-management groups on environmental protection in residential areas.

Along with propagandizing and mobilizing people to raise their awareness of environmental protection, these groups got involved in such practical activities as eradicating illegal advertising boards, cleaning up streets, planting green trees and actively realizing criteria on green, clean, nice urban construction.

They also mobilized people to make urban rejuvenation and donate land, contributing to construct the local alleys under the motto of “The State and people work together”. So far, the whole city has had 113 alleys covered by asphalt or more than 90% of total.
