City’s Phu Dong sports festival opens

Thu Dau Mot city’s Division of Education and Training will kick off the 2019-2020 academic year sports festival from December 4 to 31.

This year’s sports festival includes 11 events: athletics, mini-football, volleyball, basketball, badminton, shuttle cock kicking, table tennis, chess, swimming, aerobic and tug-of-war. It aims to sort out outstanding individuals for provincial-level sports tournaments while creating favorable conditions for the local pupils to exchange and improve their sports achievements.
