Clean water and environment sanitation to be ensured during monsoon

Binh Duong provincial Center for Disease Control has just issued guidance documents to 9 medical centers of districts, towns and cities and related units on ensuring clean water and sanitation in the rainy season. The Center builds three scenarios for the units to proactively ensure clean water before storms and floods, during the storms and floods and post events.

All three of the situations are important, affecting the assurance of clean water and sanitation in the rainy season. Typically, units proactively supply water and environment treatment chemicals, clean and disinfect tanks, utensils for drinking and daily life with disinfectant products that have already been issued by the Ministry of Health when storms and floods occur. In addition, the units guide health workers and people to carry out environmental sanitation activities in flooded areas.
