Update: 12-04-2024 | 11:45:06

On April 11, Vo Van Minh, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, chaired a reception of Vietnam Electricity Group (EVN) delegation led by Cao Quang Quynh, member of EVN Members’ Council.

At the meeting, Quynh informed that as determining the goal of ensuring electricity supply and serving enough electricity for production, business and daily life needs of the entire society, EVN has implemented a series of solutions, like: investing in power sources and grids; deploying solutions for economical and efficient use of electricity; load shifting agreements... The Group also regularly supervises and monitors power grid operations...

Quynh hopes that in the coming time, Binh Duong province would continue to support and resolve problems of electrical projects in the area to ensure the progress of projects, contributing to stabilizing electricity supply across the province. Speaking at the meeting, Minh said that Binh Duong allocated 25,000 hectares for industrial development in the coming period; in addition, the population in the province is large and the urbanization rate is fast, so it is forecast that electricity demand would increase. To ensure power sources for socio-economic development, the province pays great attention to the electricity planning, specifically regularly reviewing and supplementing electricity planning to meet the needs, urban plannings must arrange specific planning for power projects...

Minh also proposed that EVN, Southern Electricity Corporation and Binh Duong Electricity Company continue to coordinate closely with departments and branches of the province in planning and developing the electricity system; accelerate the progress of relocation of works and power grids at key traffic projects in the area to ensure on-schedule progress...

He also asked relevant branches of the province to urgently coordinate to remove difficulties and obstacles in developing power sources and grids to meet electricity needs in the area.
