Commando brigade 429 receives third-class Fatherland Defense Medal

Early January 5, the 429th commando brigade held a ceremony to receive the third-class Fatherland Defense Medal and celebrate its  55th Traditional Day (February 4, 1969 - February 4, 2024).

The event was attended by Major General Hoang Minh Son, Vice-Secretary of the Party Committee - Commander of the Commando Force; Colonel Nguyen Quoc Duan, Secretary of the Party Committee - Political Commissar of the Commando Force; Nguyen Loc Ha, Member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice-Chairman of provincial People's Committee; Bui Thanh Nhan, Member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission.

At the ceremony, the brigade reviewed its glorious history and traditions over the past 55 years. With many outstanding achievements, the brigade was awarded many noble awards by the Party, State, Central Military Commission, Ministry of National Defense and Regional Command. Upholding the tradition of being a heroic unit of the people's armed forces, entering a period of innovation, the brigade has continued building its forces, organize training, prepare for combat and participation in performing unexpected tasks.

Officers and soldiers of the brigade have always promoted revolutionary heroism, the qualities of "Uncle Ho's soldiers", "Commando force", building a clean and strong brigade Party Committee and a comprehensively outstanding brigade, participating in activities that contribute to economic, cultural and social development, building the all-people national defense and a solid people's security posture...

With outstanding achievements, the brigade was awarded the third-class Fatherland Defense Medal by the President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
