Commending 50 collectives and 143 individuals

Morning May 18^th, Binh Duong province Party Committee held a conference to review 4 years implementation of Politburo’s Directive 03-CT/TW on promoting studying and following President Ho Chi Minh’s moral example. Mr. Pham Van Canh, Deputy Secretary of provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of People's Council, attended the conference. 

After 4 years implementation of Directive 03, the "Studying and following the moral example of Ho Chi Minh" has become an important part of political life with the participation of the majority of cadres, Party members, civil servants, trade unionists, organizations, and the whole society. 

All levels and sectors have encouraged all people to take part in the movement through diverse and practical models, activities. Party members, civil servants have wholeheartedly served the country, served the people. People of all strata have saved power and water, cut costs and expenditures, helped each other, disadvantaged persons. These have proved pervasive effects of the movement "Studying and following the moral example of Ho Chi Minh". Besides, through the movement, more and more excellent individuals and collectives with creative models, initiatives have emerged and been commended by the Party.

Mr. Nguyen Van Bay, Head of Di An Town Propaganda and Training Committee, shared his experiences in implementation of Directive 03 at the conference. He said, firstly, a detailed plan to deploy the Directive to grassroots level had to be developed in order for the implementation to become a part of everyday life.

Annually, municipal Propaganda and Training Committee invites reporters to disseminate the contents to all cadres; advised municipal People’s Committee to form inspector groups to make timely adjustments to the implementation. Besides, the committee has tried to replicate new efficient models. Thus, achievements in the implementation process were honorable, creating a pervasive effect on the community.

Mr. Pham Van Dinh, Deputy Secretary of Thoi Hoa ward Party Committee in Ben Cat town, shared the model “Close to people” to encourage cadres to better themselves, be close to people and help people. Cadres had to regularly come to people to learn and understand people’s aspirations, local situations, and make proper propaganda or report to higher levels for solutions.  

Mr. Nguyen Minh Thao, Head of Farmers’ Association of Binh Chanh quarter, Tan Binh ward, Tan Uyen town, said, farmers learned and followed uncle Ho in a practical way. He said, previously, income of farmers was low. But, since applying new techniques and technologies, local farmers have had higher income. “We learned the diligence of uncle Ho”, said Mr. Thao.

Mr. Pham Van Canh, on behalf of provincial Party Standing Committee, commended achievements of all levels during 4 years implementation of Politburo’s Directive 03, especially excellent 50 collectives and 143 individuals representing provincial 623 collectives and 1,729 individuals having outstanding achievements in the movement.

Mr. Canh also noticed shortcomings in the implementation process. Party and government of all levels had to make the studying and following the moral example of Ho Chi Minh become a part of daily life; combine the studying and following the moral example of Ho Chi Minh with Party building according to Central Resolution 4 in 2015. Particularly, all levels should focus on Party Congress of all levels and the 12^th National Party Congress under the Directive 36 of the Politburo...
