Companion of workers

During 93 years of establishment and development, the Vietnam Trade Union in each period with many different names has always promoted its role, well performing functions and tasks, greatly contributing to the revolutionary victories of the nation; represented and protected the legitimate rights and interests of the Vietnamese working class, becoming a companion of workers and taking care of their daily lives.

During the history of revolutionary struggle, during the process of national construction and development, especially during the period of accelerated industrialization and modernization, Vietnamese working class has always played a pioneering role. Therefore, taking care of and building a strong Vietnamese working class is the responsibility of the Party and State; in which the role of trade unions is particularly important. In Binh Duong, with the characteristics of a province with strong industrial development, clearly defining roles, functions and tasks, over the past years, provincial Trade Unions at all levels constantly improved their operational quality with focus on effectively performing the work of representing, taking care of and protecting employees’ legitimate rights and interests. In addition, they also focused on developing trade unionists, building trade union locals in order to gather, unite, care for and promote the role of the working class during the local socio-economic development process. Many good models and practical care activities brought trade union activities closer to workers. The Trade Union has really become a companion of workers in daily life.

In the current context of deep international integration, Vietnamese workers are facing great opportunities and challenges. The industrial revolution 4.0 requires workers to adapt quickly, grasp and well apply technologies in the working process... Therefore, trade unions at all levels need to become efficient partners for workers during the journey of mastering new science and technology.

In addition, in the current situation, when the lives of workers are still facing many difficulties, the Trade Union needs to continue strongly innovating the content and mode of operation, better performing the function of representation and protecting legitimate rights and interests, affirming the role of being a companion for workers.
