Compensation and site clearance in An Son commune’s An Thanh ward under supervision

On May 23, Thuan An city’s People's Council organized a delegation to oversee the situation and results of compensation and site clearance for projects invested by the People's Committees of the province and the city in An Thanh ward and An Son commune.

Over the past time, the People's Committee of An Thanh ward paid attention to directing professional staff to arrange work and well coordinate with the Center for Land Fund Development in compensation for site clearance, settlement of complaints pertaining to compensation. As of April 30, functional agencies inventoried 421 records on compensation, support and resettlement of the belt road 3 at the session through An Thanh ward, reaching 98.8% of total. The Center for Land Fund Development also sent a document confirming the housing status of 154 households with all their land cleared.

For the Bung Biep - Suoi Cat drainage axis project, there are 64 cases with land cleared. So far,  there have been 51 cases receiving compensation. For the project of building An Thanh resettlement area, there are 89 land plots and 56 households affected...

At the working session, the delegation acknowledged contributive ideas by the two localities while saying that the delegation will soon suggest competent authorities to consider and resolve petitions by the localities.
