Vo Van Minh, Vice-Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Chairman of provincial People's Committee speaks at the working session
Through the inventory process, in fact, the project has a number of cases where there are only assets on land, including construction works, auxiliary works, and architectural objects. The total number of cases affected by the statistical project to date is about 515 cases.
As of April 17, the tasks of measuring, tallying and setting up compensation records have been implemented for 486 out of 515 cases, or 94% of total. Regarding resettlement, through preliminary survey, more than 300 cases need to be arranged in terms of land plots for resettlement.
With the above situation, based on the number of existing resettlement sites in the city, the Compensation Council intends to arrange the land in 6 resettlement areas in the area with a total of 284 plots.
Vo Van Hong, Chairman of Di An city‘s people's Committee said: "The fund for resettlement is currently insufficient compared to actual needs, so the city’s People's Committee is oriented to deal with two options: For the option 1, the People's Committee of Binh Thang ward is ordered to grasp the situation of households about the resettlement arrangement by apartments, reporting to the city’s People's Committee for solutions to report to provincial People's Committee. For the option 2, the city’s People’s Committee is to contact 2 neighboring localities, Thu Dau Mot city or Thuan An city, to assist in arranging land plots for resettlement for the missing number of cases while directing the construction units to soon complete the infrastructure of public land in Dong Hoa ward to arrange resettlement plots for the project." Mr. Hong added that the city is currently facing problems with compensation prices for households, due to the difference in land prices between Thu Duc city and Di An city.
Concluding the working session, Vo Van Minh, Vice-Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Chairman of provincial People's Committee emphasized that the belt road 3 is a strategic road in the Southeast region, a very important gateway of Di An city in particular and Binh Duong province in general. He suggested that relevant units must send a report to provincial Department of Planning and Investment as a basis for project approval. In early May, provincial People's Committee will submit it to provincial People's Council for approval at the next meeting. He also required the units to focus on well performing compensation and site clearance. Regarding the resettlement arrangement, he asked for Di An city to review the missing resettlement plots in order to have a full arrangement plan, ensuring people’s interests and rights, stabilizing their lives.
