Competition of command, shooting, and martial arts open to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the People's Police Force's Traditional Day

In the morning of May 8, at the Square of Binh Duong provincial Administration Center, the Ministry of Public Security coordinated with the Binh Duong provincial Police to organize a contest on command, shooting, and martial arts to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the traditional day of the police force - Table No. 7. Major General Le Hong Hiep, Deputy Director of the Department of Party and Political Work, Deputy Head of the Competition Steering Committee of the Ministry of Public Security attended and directed the ceremony. Also attending the event was Mr. Nguyen Van Loc, Standing Member, Head of the provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization, Chairman of the provincial Vietnamese Fatherland Front Committee; Mr. Nguyen Van Danh, Deputy Chairman of the provincial People's Committee; the Board of Directors of 10 police departments under the Ministry of Public Security including Binh Thuan, Long An, Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Dong Thap, Dong Nai, Vinh Long, Binh Duong, Ben Tre, Tay Ninh, and People's Police University.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Major General Le Hong Hiep emphasized that the activity is to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the People's Police force; at the same time, it is the occasion of training skills in command, military and martial arts for cadres and soldiers. At the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Van Danh affirmed that the contest was an opportunity for the province to introduce the process of building and developing land and Binh Duong people; to help each officer and soldier of the People's Public Security in general and the People's Police in particular to understand and be proud of and promote the good nature and glorious tradition of the force, actively train and strive to complete duties in crime prevention and combat, ensuring social order and safety. Mr. Nguyen Van Danh believes that with very careful preparation from all stages of organization of Binh Duong provincial Police, the contest will be a great success.

The contest includes the contents of team approval exam; case study martial arts application of the People's Public Security; shooting points with 3 positions; technical and tactical contest, mixed martial arts with 38 moves and Mai Hoa Quyen with 52 moves; competition 4 pistol shooting. It is expected that the contest will take place in 3 days, and the closing ceremony and awarding ceremony will take place on May 10 at Binh Duong provincial Police.
