Conference held in Tan Uyen town to ensure epidemic prevention and control during the election

In the afternoon of May 17, a conference to ensure health care and Covid-19 prevention and control during the election of deputies to the 15th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2021-2026 term in town was held locally.

At the conference, the focused agenda was to ensure the good measures to control and prevent the Covid-19 epidemic along with the safety of the election. Active and effective responses to situations during the election activities and successful completion of tasks according to the set out requirements and plans should be in place. At the same time, human resources, medical facilities and equipment should be arranged to provide medical care, to handle epidemic situations, and to prepare mobile emergency teams and backup to respond to emergency situations of injury, fire, explosion, and poisoning.

The voters at the conference were reminded to well implement the "5K" message of Ministry of Health on getting to ballot boxes and to comply with personal preventive measures and the instructions for the Covid-19 epidemic prevention and control of the organizing committee. In addition, election officials in direct contact with voters must wear masks and drop shields and should regularly disinfect their hands.
