Conference to implement policies for poor and near-poor people held

Recently, Ben Cat town’s Division of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs in collaboration with provincial Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs held a conference to implement policies for poor, near-poor people while organizing the 2023 dialogue with poor households. More than 250 poor and near-poor households attended the event.

At the conference, the local poor households and near-poor ones were heard information about guidelines, policies and regimes to support poverty escape under the Party and State’s regulations, such as: health insurance, tuition fee exemption and reduction, support on electricity bills and housing rent, etc. They also wanted the local government to further support them to repair their houses and support their livelihoods, support tuition fees, health insurance cards, electricity bills, etc.
