Conference to promote connection of local agricultural products supply and demand held

Early August 3, provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Development held a conference to promote the connection of supply and demand of the local agricultural products.

The conference aimed at connecting supply and demand between businesses, companies purchasing agricultural products and farms, cooperatives, agricultural production households in the province; implementing regulations when participating in exporting agricultural products to potential markets, namely Europe, China, the United States..., thereby creating favorable conditions for the local agricultural products to approach and expand foreign markets.

Binh Duong currently has a total area of ​​more than 7,300 hectares of fruit trees. Durian and pomelo are the main and potential products of the province. They are being developed, forming up a concentrated production area to serve the domestic consumption and export markets. Up to now, the whole province has been granted 24 planting area codes by the Plant Protection Department for export to the markets of China, the United States, the European Union, Russia, the UK, New Zealand... with a total area granted the codes of more than 1,180 hectares.
