Congratulations to General Vo Nguyen Giap on Vietnamese Teachers’ Day
On November 16th, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Thien Nhan paid a visit and congratulated General Vo Nguyen Giap, an exemplary teacher of cadres and soliders of the Vietnamese People’s Army, on the occasion of Vietnamese Teachers’ Day (Nov.20).
On behalf of over 1 million teachers and students nationwide, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Thien Nhan conveyed good health, respect and great gratitude to General Vo Nguyen Giap.
The Deputy Prime Minister said that General Vo Nguyen Giap is always an exemplary teacher of many generations of cadres and soldiers of the Vietnamese People’s Army, an example for Vietnamese generations to study and follow. He is the pride of the party, state, army and Vietnamese people.
General Vo Nguyen Giap used to be teacher of history at Thang Long private school in Hanoi in 1939.
